Daniel Wu star of such films as Purple Rain , The Demon Within and many more, stars in AMC's new TV series now airing on Amazon Instants.
We take a look at this post Apocalyptic drama which sees Daniel play a enforcer for a faction led by one of the Barons of the Badlands.
This brutal but intriguing drama has a helpful dose of Martial arts and is aided by having a first class fight team taking part.
Add to this the series is produced by Daniel Wu ( himself mentored by Jackie Chan ) and Stephen Fung ( Enter the Pheonix , House of Fury ) as well as Stephen Fung being the Action director for the series.
Where be doing a weekly overivew of each of the series episodes from January .
Our resident games expert actually plays the Wii U exclusive title ''DEVILS THIRD '' from Tomonobu Itagaki , a game salvaged from developement limbo by Nintendo after THQ when into liquidation, Nintendo stepped in to save the game for it's Wii U system even though the game was in developement originally for rival systems from Sony and Microsoft.
Devils Third is a game that has had it's fair share of backlash from Western crtics for it's style and gameplay , many citing it unplayable.
But after coutless praise for the game from actual users who have purchased the game we just had to do a feature on the game to find out who was telling the truth or not.
Our site feature for this will go live in January when Bruno.B is happy with his time with the game.
Boxart for Devils Third from Nintendo
Both Jackie Chan and Donnie Yen have a barrage of films in motion, some completed in Post Production and others in Pre -Production.
Here are the posters for Donnie Yen's long awaited ''Ip Man 3'' and Jackie Chan's ''Skip Trace '' , Ip Man 3 has the appearence of Boxing legend Mike Tyson and Jackie teams up with Jackass star Johnny Knoxville.
Both films have not been without their problems , After a long time in Planning ''Skip Trace '' went ahead with a change to Chan's co-star ,as Sean William Scott was first penned to star in the role of Connor Watts , now played by Johnny Knoxville ,also the director was originally Sam Fell and he was replaced by Renny Harlin.
But Sadly ever more so was the death of Hong Kong Cinematographer Chan Kwok Hung on December 17th 2014 while filimg a scene for the film when his Sampan capsized , seven others survived but Chan Kwok Hung drowned.
Chan Kwok Hung has been the cinematographer on some great films from the past like Tokyo Raiders and Invisable Target.
Also of note is the film reunites Jackie Chan and Renny Harlin who where making the film NOSE BLEED , where Chan would star as window washer of the World Trade center. Filming was due to start on September 11th 2001 atop the Trade Center ,but due to a script change he re-schedualled for the following day.
Of course the film was abandoned due to the tragedy.
But it must be Karma that Chan has re-teamed with Renny Harlin after all these years.
It's just a shame the film was also bound with tragedy with the death of Chan Kwok Hung.
Donnie Yen's Ip Man 3 has been long awaited by fans , also the 3D move may not be the best part of it as Tony Jaa's Tom Yum Goong 2 proved that the over use of effects and 3D do nothing more then take away from the action in some instances.
Also this film was to have the character of Martial arts legend Bruce Lee , planning to do so by the use of CGI , but the Bruce Lee Estate (BLE) have shown their distaste for this and that they have not been approached for official approval as they control all related products and placement , Likeness and image of Bruce Lee in any media .
They say it's not authorised and mean to try to stop it going ahead. A lawsuit is ongoing.
Pegasus , who are making the film say they have IP rights to use Bruce Lee's likeness in the film as Robert Lee is a consultant on Ip Man 3 and holds the Intellectual Property rights.
Other news states that also starring in the film is Danny Chan who portrayed a likeness of Bruce Lee in Stepehn Chow's films Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle.
He is said to be potraying Lee in part for the film, we will have to see if this is true.
Also whilst filimg a fight scene with Mike Tyson Donnie Yen fractured Mike Tyson's finger.
Both films release head to head on December 24th 2015 in Hong Kong
We will see who lasts longer but by then the juggernaught of Star Wars will be out and we all know what that means.
There's one other poster in this montage of another Jackie Chan film called Kung Fu Yoga , more on this in our news feed soon.
